The ENCOMPASS 400 can be used to accomplish all of these landscape lighting methods—one light; multiple purposes!
#1 Uplighting – focusing light upward. Landscape Uplights are often mounted below or at ground level and designed to shine the light upward to draw attention to a specific focal point overhead.
#2 Shadowing – focusing on an object to create a shadow. Landscape shadow lighting is created by placing a landscape light in front of an object and projecting a shadow onto a surface behind the object.
#3 Accent Lighting – drawing special attention to a specific feature.  Landscape Accent Lighting is usually angled up or down to draw attention to an architectural design, plant, or other feature.
#4 Path Lighting – multi-functioning safety lighting of an area.  Path Lighting increases safety, but is also commonly used to highlight specific features of your yard at ground level.
